Commercial Business Developer
PestScan is a fast-growing pest control software company building smart, modern tools for pest management businesses across Europe and around the world. Our team is young, energetic, and driven by innovation. To support our international growth, we are looking for a Commercial Business Developer who can help us open new markets and strengthen our presence globally.
About the Role
As a Commercial Business Developer, you play a crucial role in expanding PestScan’s presence in new and developing markets internationally. You understand how pest control companies operate. From technician workflows and planning to reporting expectations, customer communication, and compliance requirements.
Your work combines market development with the early-stage sales cycle. You explore new opportunities, connect with prospects, perform demos, and validate market needs through direct conversations. Once a new customer decides to start with PestScan, you guide them through the commercial steps and hand them over to our support department, who ensures a smooth onboarding process.
In this role, you help PestScan identify what different international markets require, build the first relationships with key industry players, and provide strategic insights to our team to support product and commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in new and emerging markets, in which you:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, industry bodies, and strategic partners
- Translate market insights into actionable feedback for our product, development, and marketing teams
- Represent PestScan internationally, attending industry events, partner meetings, and online sessions when needed
- Present and demonstrate PestScan software to potential clients, both online and at events
- Manage the full early-phase sales cycle, from first contact to handing over new clients to our support department
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience in the pest control industry or pest control software
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand operational needs and translate them into practical solutions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing SaaS environment
- Self-driven, organised, and proactive
- Enjoys working with an international team
- Speaking multiple languages is a plus
- French is a strong advantage

Junior Online Marketer
Why would you want this job?
As a Junior Online Marketer at PestScan you help us tell our story to pest control companies across the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom and other countries around the world. You work on all the content that brings our platform to life, like blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, videos and ads.
You also keep the content calendar on track so everything goes live well and on time. You work closely with sales colleagues in a small team with short lines and plenty of room for your own ideas. You are not expected to know everything on day one: over the first months you will grow into the role with guidance from your colleagues.
What you will do
- Together with sales colleagues, you build and maintain the content planner.
- You create social media posts in line with our brand style and publish them online.
- You support email and marketing campaigns in our automation tool (ActiveCampaign), from set-up to follow-up.
- You help keep the website fresh. Publishing blogs, updating pages and landing pages in the CMS.
- You keep an eye on basic performance (reach, clicks, demo requests) and share what is working.
- You help grow our fast-moving organisation and pitch in where the team needs you.
Who are we looking for?
- A creative mind with a feel for tone, image and story.
- Excellent command of both English and Dutch, written and spoken (German or French is a plus).
- Strong social and communication skills.
- Affinity with the latest trends on online channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
- Accurate and well-organised. You like keeping a planning on track.
- A starter mentality: eager to learn, ask questions and take ownership.
Nice to have
- Experience with a CMS (e.g. WordPress) or marketing automation (e.g. ActiveCampaign).
- Basic knowledge of SEO, copywriting or simple design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Some affinity with B2B or SaaS — or curiosity to learn it.

Technical Support
Why would you want this job?
As an L2 (Level 2) Support Specialist at PestScan, you are the person who digs deeper. When a problem goes beyond what the helpdesk can handle, it comes to you. You test bugs and issues thoroughly, investigate what might be going on using browser inspector tools, database queries and logs, and based on that you either solve the problem yourself or write up a detailed work item for our developers.
You are not expected to be at this level on day one. Over the first months you will build your knowledge and experience step by step, with guidance from your colleagues.
Your path will look roughly like this:
- Getting to know our platform.
- Learning our tools and resources.
- Joining the helpdesk to learn the ropes.
- Learning SQL and the database structure behind our software.
What you will do
Once you have grown into the role:
- Primary: technical support — investigating, reproducing and resolving issues, or preparing clear work items for the development team.
- Secondary: phone duty, filling in at the helpdesk, and customer trainings (online, at the office and occasionally on location).
Who are we looking for?
- Strong analytical thinking. You enjoy getting to the bottom of a problem.
- Accurate and careful in your work.
- Customer-friendly, with a calm and helpful approach.
- Good command of both English and Dutch, spoken.
- A starter mentality: eager to learn, ask questions and take ownership.
Nice to have
- Some technical affinity. Experience with SQL, databases or browser developer tools is a plus.
- Experience in a support, helpdesk or service desk role.
- Some affinity with B2B or SaaS or curiosity to learn it.
